a new space for the Classroom for the Living

Shed for the living

This new shed in the garden of the Royal Art Academy is a blend of community collaboration and local sustainability.

Built during the department’s Workshop Week by first- and second-year IAFD students, it showcases the power of hands-on learning and experimental construction techniques. Crafted largely from repurposed materials, it is another step to make the art academy’s garden more active in ecological regeneration.
